This gelding was bred from a former eventing mare One on One by Grange Bouncer ex Kinghaven. This mare has already produced Shannondale Jester 1*, Shannondale Sonoma Int 3*, MTH Shannondale Stefan 1:45m Showjumper and 1* Shannondale Sheamus. Sire Canturex VDF Z – one of the most exciting young sires around, Canturex is a stunning grey blood stallion approx. 16.2hh by showjumper Canturano, whose sire Canturo was a 1.60m showjumper. Sire of at minimum, thirty 1.60m horses. He also sired eventing world champion Upsilon and 4* eventing Stallion Darmagnac de Beliard. On the Canturex dam side mother Capri VDF is herself a 1.30m performer by 1.60m stallion Casiro by the great showjumper Cassini I. His third dam is out of a full TB mare. There is a double line cross of the great TB sire Ladykiller through Landgraf. Also of note there is also triple line cross of the great Cor De La Bryere in the 6th generation pedigree. His first year progeny produced 4th in the 3 Year Old Jumping in RDS Dublin, and top priced 3 Year Old Shannondale Pharoah at the Monart 2024 Sale.
