Bred from Shannondale Poppet who was a super cross of Shannondale Sarco ex Broken Hearted (TB). Poppet has already produced Shannondale Pharaoh who was the top priced three year old at the Monart Sale in 2024. Sire Canturex VDF Z is one of the most exciting young sires around, Canturex is a stunning grey blood stallion approx 16.2hh by showjumper Canturano, whose sire Canturo was a 1.60m showjumper. Sire of at a minimum, thirty 1.60m horses. He also sired eventing World Champion Upsilon and 4* eventing stallion - Darmagnac de Beliard. On the Canturex dam side, her mother, Capri VDF is herself a 1.30m performer by 1.60m stallion Casiro who is by the great showjumper, Cassini I. His third dam is out of a full TB mare. There is a double line cross of the great TB sire Ladykiller through Landgraf. Also of note there is a triple line cross of the great Cor De La Bryere in the sixth generation pedigree. His first year progeny produced the fourth placed horse in the 3 Year Old Jumping in the RDS, Dublin and top priced three year old Shannondale Pharaoh.
