The Monart Sale showcases Ireland’s finest selection of three-year-old and older sport horses, brought together at one venue, over one exceptional event. Each horse is carefully selected by our internationally recognised panel and sold by auction, all taking place within the stunning grounds of one of the world’s most renowned locations.
This is the only sale in the world where every horse is hand-selected by a panel of five-star event riders — Polly Jackson (GB), Niall Griffin (IRL), Sue Shortt (IRL), and Bill Levett (AUS) — and vetted by Olympic team vet Marcus Swail.
When we launched The Monart Sale — the first of its kind in Ireland — back in 2010, our vision was to connect Ireland’s best young horses directly with some of the world’s leading riders. Our goal was to create a platform where Irish vendors could present their horses and receive a fair, honest price, and where buyers could purchase with confidence, knowing that transparency and quality were at the heart of everything we do.
We are immensely proud that, since its inception, our sale has remained true to those founding principles — and continues to uphold them today.
